Coverage Design for the Strip located between the Perimeter Wall of the UM Cerro and the Populated Center of Paragsha

The Cerro de Pasco Mining Unit is a zinc, lead and silver producing pit. Stockpiles are located in its surroundings, limited with the C.P. Paragsha by a perimeter wall. GYC was in charge of preparing the technical coverage design file for the strip located between the perimeter wall of the Cerro de Pasco M.U and the C.P. from Paragsha.

Characterization of the Areas Impacted by the Industrial Waters that flowed through the Adjacent and/or Surrounding Areas of the Yanamate Discharge Pipeline Channel

The pipeline channel for transporting industrial waters to the Yanamate lagoon was part of the operations of the Cerro de Pasco MU. GYC was in charge of preparing the technical file with the objective of defining the remediation measures for the areas impacted by industrial waters, following the provisions of the guides approved by the Peruvian environmental regulations.

Care and Maintenance Plan for Temporary and/or Unforeseen Closure of the Cerro Mining Unit

Open pit exploitation in the Cerro de Pasco Mining Unit dates back to 1956. Temporary or unforeseen closure could occur for various reasons (political, economic, social, health, etc.), for which a plan is requested to be developed. GYC was in charge of carrying out the plan including a total duration schedule in months of the activities to be carried out in response to this circumstance.
